holy moley its been a whole long time since i wrote here last. i am not even going to try to say everything that's happened since... june. wow. june? really, moriah? you suck. if you read this and want to know everything send me a message and ill talk more about it, but i dont want to put this out there for just anyone to read. haha but in all seriousness. its been a rough few months and a lot has happened. i'm grateful for them though. its made me so much stronger and I've become surrounded by friends who really care about and love me and im extremely lucky. ok well i just wanted to say im still alive, and ill update when i can/have decent

so how exactly do I tell my parents that within a year (body and finances allowing) i will have at least 3 tattoos. And within 2 years more? Including one that spans my torso? They all have deep personal meaning to me, these aren't whims. I've wanted them since I was little, since I first learned about tattoos. these are gonna be some hard explanations to give to my parents who are vehemently against them. well, i hope it goes well. otherwise im going to have to face a lot of yelling about "permanent reminders of a temporary feeling" as my dad calls them. on other notes: -dad was in car accident in NYC. he damaged his hand and had surgery

in the past 2 days, the world lost two amazing, strong, and good men. John Maurice Hackett (April 8, 1926-April 26, 2010) and Benjamin Backstrom (June 5, 1990-April 27, 2010). John Hackett was my grandfather. His death was the result of his body giving up after heart surgery in January. I miss you Papa Ben was a good friend of mine. He died from violence just off Drake Campus, where he attended. I miss you shorty. The world is already a little sadder without you two here. Miss you and love you both.
